I’m Peter (he/him), cis #Gay #Queer #Ace man, #Trans ally.
I work in English Language Teaching as an #Editor, #Writer and #DEI consultant, mainly focusing on #LGBTQIA representation which is woefully lacking. I self-published a resource book called Existence, which I believe is the first and only LGBTQIA+ ELT resource book. I also started @notataboo .

Coming Out as Trans
I am publicly announcing that I am transgender. I have experienced gender dysphoria for almost ten years, but I have found a label that I feel comfortable with now.TheEvilSkeleton
Born in 1938, Jeanne Hoff, was the 1st openly transgender psychiatrist. She used her voice to speak out for others, such as a Black transgender woman diagnosed by doctors w “mental retardation" & “sexual perversion” due to her gender identity.
Hoff shared her transition experience in a documentary to encourage her transgender patients to live openly & confidently. She passed away earlier this Fall & absolutely belongs in #HistoryRemix.

Attention fedizens, it has come to our attention that more trolls are causing a ruckus on the #fediverse. Beware of users who use acronyms like lgbtq/lgbtqia in posts or on their profiles.
LGBTQ/LGBTQIA stands for Let's Get Banned Today Quickly (by) Instance Admins, is used to refer to a group of trolls who like to block evade or "speedrun" getting defederated.
They will make inflammatory posts such as the one below to see how quickly they can get on #fediblock.
If you see any #lgbtqia individuals please block and federate safely.

As @natematias has pointed out, this conversation needs to start with #bipoc, #lgbtqia+, and other people who have been (and continue to be) attacked in social media spaces.

I wanted to share the first #pride series I made. I made so very many versions of this.
A lot of my work ends up just being stuff I'd wear on a shirt. And then I try be be inclusive if the design calls for it. So it really ends up simplistic sometimes, but it's an aesthetic I like.
