May I recommend mentioning that it is a kernel driver in the title? Whenever I see the news around I always see people thinking that it will replace NVK or something.
in reply to Liam @ GamingOnLinux ๐Ÿง๐ŸŽฎ

Where will this fit into the ecosystem now that we have NVK? Is it a replacement for that as well, is it going to utilitise NVK for Vulkan rendering, etc?

Hey @Girl Of The Sea! Have you seen ? It's an IMAX film and well worth watching on the extra big screen! The Hollywood dramatised version wasn't much to write home about. It was the documentary that had me all emotional and crying beautiful tears at the end!

The BBC used generative AI to help draft promotional emails about Doctor Who and got a bunch of complaints. They will no longer use the technology because of that.

This is a bit silly and is akin to complaining that a spell checker was used to send you email spam. There is a lot of Luddite energy around generative AI and overreactions from companies both for and against it

deadline.com/2024/03/bbc-doctoโ€ฆ

in reply to Eugen Rochko

@Gargron It's worth re-reading the story of the actual Luddites. They weren't anti technology. They were trying (in vain, we now know) to protect their livelihoods.

@RxBrad Iโ€™d be very curious about the actual numbers, as even 5% of their userbase would be a lot in our terms. But what really matters is that high profile accounts do it, the ones who have pull.
