In two experiments, the claim was tested that the font “Dyslexie”, specifically designed for people with dyslexia, eases reading performance of children with (and without) dyslexia. Three questions were investigated.SpringerLink
A dyslexic friend really likes OD, he says it lessens fatigue quite a bit.
Of course, YMMV, but I wouldn't throw the idea out just because of these studies on schoolchildren, much like I wouldn't expect any given person with dyslexia to prefer them.
