Just a clarification question re.
lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/p…

What does “signed claims” mean exactly?
We are on the way to federate #wiki and use
w3.org/TR/activitystreams-voca…
(its own section) and think that
things like codeberg.org/fediverse/fep/src… could help

Currently it is signed traditional by instance which syncs with wikidata, OSM etc.

West Burton A and Drax coal power stations to close at the end of this month, leaving only Ratcliffe until September next year.

We really should preserve one of these - probably Ratcliffe - but it's clearly just going to get demolished because the UK is awful at preserving its industrial heritage.

In all seriousness, how does a spacecraft end up ahead of schedule? I thought the flight plan, including factors like fuel consumption, orbital mechanics, possible collision risks, was all mapped out in advance very carefully.l

but does Steam work with IPv6 yet? Last I tried, it had hard coded dotted quads that break NAT64. I don't need them to support IPv6 themselves, just not break when I am using it.

We’ve all seen the sci-fi artwork showing two planets in the sky, or a second Sun.
I wonder what a sky filled with nearby Suns and planets would look like.

Can't get over the fact Linux Torvalds (@torvalds) is running Akkoma!

And not only that, kernel.org's official Fediverse server is running on Akkoma too!

Whether he realizes it or not, that's quite a political choice 😁

Whatever @torvalds uses is usually interpreted as an endorsement.

So think about it:

1. He's on the Fediverse
2. He's NOT running Mastodon
3. He's running Akkoma, NOT Pleroma

mastodon - Link to source
Eugen Rochko
@clacke That does not seem plausible to me, post content is HTML, plus Mastodon sanitizes it to safe tags, I can’t see how a client implementation could mess that up in a way that only affects a specific origin server software. IDs have always been stringified integers in the Mastodon API though.
in reply to Eugen Rochko

@Gargron @clacke Problem was some clients were expecting status IDs to always be castable back to integers even though the Mastodon API doc explicitly states its not guaranteed to be a number. Which caused issues with some non-Mastodon hosts that supported the Mastodon API but used both letters and numbers in their status IDs.
