Three Insulate Britain activists are serving jail terms for contempt of court for breaching rulings made by a judge that they were not to mention the climate crisis, fuel poverty or the history of the peaceful civil rights movement to juries.

theguardian.com/environment/20…

The three – David Nixon, Amy Pritchard and Giovanna Lewis – were jailed after addressing the juries at separate trials to explain their motivation for taking direct action. #climate #protest #activism

The first 3 climate news curators are dong a great job, but there is still the issue of categorizing content.

My tools for categorizing content are now much improved. Here is the collection of articles on greenwashing, organized by most recent first.

Let’s be clear, the need for onion services, the use of privacy-focused browsers, and other forms of encryption to protect people's anonymity online still persists.

in reply to The Tor Project

Twitter matters little. TOR is somewhat irrelevant. Various governments want to ban anonymity under the guise of proving you're over 18. The only real way to do that is providing a photo ID ~ okay, maybe give them a credit card
(yes it's BS and easier to get around than a bar bouncer but that's what they want)
in reply to The Tor Project

Good riddance, it never worked anyway. I tried to make an account there recently and it was nothing but endless captchas until it demanded a phone number. Haven't touched it since.

If I was dragged through mud by the owner of the company I was working at in front of hundreds of thousands of people I'd be looking for a new job that same day. It doesn't matter if he apologizes for it, why would you even consider a public exit interview.

In this map, countries where more carbon dioxide was removed than emitted appear as green depressions, while countries with higher emissions are tan or red and appear to pop off the page.

A dyslexic friend really likes OD, he says it lessens fatigue quite a bit.

Of course, YMMV, but I wouldn't throw the idea out just because of these studies on schoolchildren, much like I wouldn't expect any given person with dyslexia to prefer them.
