"Aristotle is out of date. He [couldn't] imagine living a life for the sake of stockpiling as much money as possible, much less orienting an entire society around it. We [sadly] can.

The shift to a pure market society, to a kind of totalitarianism of capitalism, was so successful that it has become almost invisible to us."

Sounds good to me. We don’t need an incremental Steam Deck 2. Now that Valve finally has a hardware hit on their hands they need the next few steps to not stumble. Wow potential customers with a generational leap in performance.

in reply to Liam @ GamingOnLinux 🐧🎮

Monster Sanctuary felt like a good Proof-Of-Concept. The systems were great, but the world, level-design and story were very boring.

Also most of the monsters were too similar. There were basically around 10 archetypes and the rest were variations on them.

So this has the potential to be great if they learned the right lessons.

well... I still need the android device to run your own, and a few 3rd party paid-for, apps. I'm not confident this prevents Google for making use of my data, though hopefully less, at least.
