Macbook charger teardown: The surprising complexity inside Apple's power adapter
Have you ever wondered what's inside your Macbook's charger? There's a lot more circuitry crammed into the compact power adapter than you...www.righto.com
Did this #teardown to see what the screen in it was and if it could be re-used with a decent amount of effort.
The shiny WLCSP chip seems to be a STM32L476JE and that's the one running the show in it.
The chip next to it is a 25LQ64CW 64Mbit SPI flash.
Nice to see the published version of this:

Meta announced 'IGL', a high-performance cross-platform graphics library
Available under the MIT license, Meta (as in Facebook) have released IGL (Intermediate Graphics Library) for developers.Liam Dawe (GamingOnLinux)
Even if Meta releases this under a permissive license I'm still going to be a bit skeptical of it. Meta has a history of making open projects that end up getting tied to their proprietary systems.
I'd be concerned that a few years down the line this library will end up tied to Facebook Gaming or Quest VR stuff.
We are so lucky that Lord Zuck has blessed us with the privilege of igl.
This will probably end up tied to a proprietary platform. Meta stuff always backfires..

Oh wow, I thought that was a loss cause since Phasmaphobia relies on Windows speech recognition, didn't think Proton would bother with it, much less implement it. That's awesome.
