my department is offering four fully salaried, three-year PhD positions, across all its areas of research.

positions are based in Oslo, salaries are good, you get robust support and training, and the department is an inclusive, supportive research environment where PhDs are looked after and treated as valued junior colleagues. PhDs in Norway are employees, so you'll have workplace protections, paid holidays, the opportunity to join a union and so on.

research topics for the call are open, within the areas of the department, but you'll need a potential supervisor before you apply.
