Our first few days at Rock Creek had very wacky weather – big hailstorms and thunder. It's settled down somewhat, but that was a nice welcome as I've missed summer storms very much. The Central Valley hasn't had a good one in a very long time! #montana #nature

Home for the next three months! We'd prepared to be purifying our water and solar-ing up our own power, but the cabin actually has solar panels on its roof and disease-free water (albeit from a pump in the back yard). We're responsible for a 10-mile stretch of territory up and down the river. #montana
