Cuz that's the Problem I see with a shitton of sites that demand "#Verification" for "valid purposes" (aka. mandated by law) which completely fall flat when one tells them honestly that one doesn't have a "compatible [enshittified] #Smartphone" nor Webcan and certainly isn't gonna hand over some 3rd party #ID documents that could be trivially abused for #fraud.
- And I'm not talking about some #TechBro-only products like a #Shitcoin-Exchange, but #PaymentProcessors like #SumUp that LITERALLY advertise themselves to be easy to use and customer friendly and where one can reasonably say that for a small business like a locksmith that just wants to accept card payments when they open doors it's not uncommon to just not have that.
It really is a staggering case of forced app useage that @digitalcourage should take a look at since they combat #AppZwang & #DigitalZwang…
