Rocky path, beautiful & rewarding.

No December colors, but taken on our last hike of the year yesterday @ Pürschling south wall...

A steep, almost vertical rocky creek bed with only small pools of crystal clear water, surrounded by young beech trees with their dried orange/rusty leaves still clinging on and intensely glowing in the late afternoon sun. Large conifers standing in the background further down. The other side of the valley is barely visible through the trees.
