Hey! I realize I've been a little silent around here lately (even forgot to update next con, oops). In truth, I've been to three different cons since the last time I posted, and I've worn three cosplays that no pictures have been posted of yet! I'm not about to rush my amazing photographers about the shoots I've had (especially since they all were tfp), so we'll kick it off with a couple of shots my boyfriend took of my Emilyko at #comicparkerfurt this year.

Most of this cosplay is made by me. I heavily adjusted a dress pattern to make the dress and tried to stay true to the outfit details provided in the manga - the dress has a V neckline with a red closure that you can't see under the apron, and the cuffs are detachable (which is true to the source and also great for laundy). The apron is its own seperate piece, the first time I made button loops for the closure (love them) and genereally very free-styled pattern-wise and I'm honestly a little proud of my work on these. My sewing has come a long way in just over two years of sporadic hobby-ing! The shoes are bought, but they were white and I painted them to match the character. I obviously also made all the bows. The thing I'm least happy with is the wig, I'm still just plain bad at wigs 🙁 A couple more pictures to come, and hopefully I'll be able to share the results of my shoot in the future too!
