One of the mystery plants (Liatris?) is living its best life in the garden. The other one keeled over immediately. 
Waiting patiently to see what the flowers look like!
I’m considering moving these plants to a spot on the ground. They don’t feel like hanging pot plants, since there’s no hint of a flower yet and they’re probably closer together than they’d prefer. At least they’re not dead?
Uh. Yeah, still a mystery.

Whelp. I thought I’d planted some extra crocosmia bulbs in here but I’m thinking those leaves toward the front do not look like crocosmia leaves.
