Git is named after the British slang for “unpleasant person”—a nod to Linus Torvalds’ sharp sense of humor.
Actually, I would agree with a number of these. Especially the one that says puns are a sign of intelligence! XD

Intelligence manifests in various ways beyond traditional academic measures. Sometimes these manifestations can seem unusual to onlookers, but there’s no denying the science that backs them up - genius is as genius does, and tests prove it.Monika Pašukonytė (Bored Panda)

The can-can she dances will make you fry
The can-can is really reason why
We're having a heatwave
A tropical heatwave
The temperature's rising
It isn't surprising
She certainly can, can-can
She started a heatwave
By letting her seat wave
And in such a way that
The customers say that
She certainly can, can-can
Gee

I Ran Deepseek R1 on Raspberry Pi 5 and No, it Wasn't 200 tokens/s
Everyone is seeking Deepseek R1 these days. Is it really as good as everyone claims? Let me share my experiments of running it on a Raspberry Pi.Abhishek Kumar (It's FOSS)
I wasn't sure, so after reading your comment, I went to the Ollama website and checked the model they provided. The documentation makes it pretty clear that it's a distilled version of DeepSeek R1.
As for the self-questioning and reasoning, I tested it with Open WebUI earlier, and while there was some reasoning involved, the final response was still correct.
The self-questioning part seemed more like the model thinking through the answer rather than adding unnecessary filler.

Smash Bros is great, WB smash bros is fine, but givin it away and charging buckets of real world cash for characters and costumes will inevitably result in a small fat cat player base, a shallow gameplay development cycle and over emphasis on upsold content generation.

Large companies like Elsevier, Sage, Springer Nature, Taylor & Francis, or Wiley publish most of the major journals, and it is their shareholders that pocket the "rent" they receive thanks to academics' labor.
