@itsfoss has an article up showcasing 8 websites that every Linux user should be familiar with.

- ArchWiki
- Explainshell
- Distrowatch
- Phoronix
- Ubuntu Blog
- GamingOnLinux
- /r/Linux on Reddit

Awesome to see @gamingonlinux there. I personally use the RSS feeds for several of these rather than a bookmark, but it's all good.

Yes! I loathe the word content. I always felt like it diminished whatever someone was making (art, videos, music, articles, blogs, posts, photos, etc) all into one boring thing "content".

Where are the artists, the musicians, the videographers, the writers, the film makers? They're "content creators"...

I hope this is a step forward for artist appreciation.

We the content creators of the open internet should not consent to black box systems like AltmanAI to use our data for its own enrichment.

I will only allow open source AI systems - participants in the Creative Commons - to use my data. Closed systems that don’t participate in the ecosystem of the #internet should be expressly disallowed from training on open data shared in good faith.

I stumbled across José Ramón Hoz Torre‘s excited announcement on LinkedIn that he’d just completed an MSc in the #Internet of Things — congrats, José! — and the subject of his thesis caught my eye.

José had developed a smart home prototype using an #Arduino MEGA and a #RaspberryPi 4.
