I just got curious about Bluesky and made an account a couple days ago. I had a follow within minutes, and more replies in an hour than Iโve had my whole time on mastodon. Plus, with multiple feeds, I was able to easily follow good accounts quickly.
I love the grass roots feeling of Mastodon, but itโs often like screaming into the void. I posted a simple Linux question with the popular hashtags and got zero replies here. There, I got 5 replies.

They'd have to do a whole lot more to regain trust, like open sourcing to be able to compete with Godot, and I Very Much Doubt they ever would do that.

I think this whole ordeal angered me personally because learning a new engine and APIs means dedicating so much time that you learn a new way of thinking.
If a company then uses that to trap an entire community, in my opinion that's just evil.
