Reporting back on this the launcher and room setup worked great this time, just like on Windows! I then went and downloaded HL:A of course; the obvious benchmark. I played for about an hour before it hung the entire PC and had to be hard reset. The performance was way better than last time but reproduction was pretty bad. Playable for some perhaps but would probably cause motion sickness for others. Still, a huge leap forward and here's to hoping they keep improving!

Rocks are the strong, silent types. Telepathy is required. I've learned that of course they are very patient. But they do become bored staying in one place year after year. They would enjoy being moved to someplace new, with different views. They even enjoy your company and being kicked down a road or picked up and thrown. Skipping across a pond is nice. They don't mind being a part of a rock collection. They know they are loved.
