I really hope the performance issues with games in Xwayland with nvidia are better by then. Playing Hades with a RTX 3050 ti laptop gpu can cause a lot of stuttering and freezing in Wayland.
I know in the podcast you said performance is not a show stopper, but the game is literally unplayable on Wayland for me. I get I have a low end GPU, but the game works fine on Xorg.
I'm not opposed to the change if the issue gets better by then. I already use Wayland for everything else
