There’s no proper fix until Microsoft pushes a patched update. However, you can work around the issue by uninstalling all the security updates. In an unfortunate bit of timing for CEO Satya Nadella, he said last week that he wants Microsoft to put “security above else.” I can’t imagine making customers (temporarily) choose between going without a VPN and losing the latest protection is what he had in mind.

I write, usually to flesh out characters and plot ideas, but have also run RPGs entirely through text/posting. Another friend lamented that he wished he was good at writing, and I told him the only way to get better at writing is to do it. Read your favorite authors. Play word-of-the-day/vocabulary games.
Voice work, it's the same thing. You lose some of your range when you don't practice (I know I have since my heart attack). But 'coming out of your shell' performance-wise is also a jumping-off kind of thing. Do it. Do it again. Keep doing it, and learn from each instance.
