This will enable itch.io link embeds on Mastodon to show author attribution of your fediverse account. Learn more here: blog.joinmastodon.org/2024/07/…

You must opt-in to the domains that are eligible for attribution from Edit Profile > Public Profile > Verification (and scroll to the bottom, add itch.io and your own subdomain)

I see exactly 100 games?

Noticeably absent is Shogo, which fits their criteria, but I couldn't get it working on any modern Windows machine. Had to run it on my rebuilt Win98 college computer instead.

I'm honestly not really sure what the point of this is. Working with the community on fixes would be better, since the fixes may rot again if/when gog stops maintaining them.

I love all the Bluesky momentum, but there's a future where we don't need to decide between networks. Here's a good story about that future by @quillmatiq. "There's a vision of the future here where I can post something on Ghost, and right below the post, folks from Mastodon, Threads, Bluesky, and Flipboard are discussing it amongst themselves, not even realizing they're on separate platforms or protocols." augment.ink/bridges-the-last-n…

I wish I was better at Blender so I could design a Skadis holder for my Bop-It and print it out.

Anyone ever solve this problem and make one themselves? Or am I the first Bop-It enthusiast who has encountered this issue? 😜

@chris As a I commented on the article: I was in a rush, didn't have chance to *properly* read it, and it's now noted in the title.

Let's try being a little less snarky to the one single human running this shall we?

in reply to Liam @ GamingOnLinux 🐧🎮

Oh Hey Liam!

I love you ❤️

Don't take it the wrong way. It was funny. It's like "The news: There was a car incident with three cars. No one got hurt. The UN did not come to a resolution. Also world peace was declared. The weather: Sunny with..."

So no hard feelings? 👐

@Gargron Given that Trump describes Jan 6 and all his rallies as "days of love", I can understand wanting to not even remotely echo that.

@Gargron Especially when you read the article and at the very end it says that less than one percent of Maga posts have a ❤️ and so there's really nothing to worry about

Bluesky is completely automated via website code. Mastodon I post via Buffer to do Facebook at the same time.

in reply to Eugen Rochko

Serious question. The beauty of analog photos is that you click and then you see what your camera got, no filter, no photoshop, etc. But if you scan an analog photo, how do you make sure that the digital version fully depicts that photo, with no changes in colors, light, saturation, etc.? Is there a perfect way to scan analogue photos so that the digital version is the most authentic possible?
in reply to Eugen Rochko

Wow. Okay. I might go pull out my TLR and give it a spin

AUDIOVISUAL DISRUPTION proposes to dismantle the apparatus of audiovisual media arts and rethink it from a post-digital perspective based on hybridisation. Post-digital aesthetics are grounded in impure aesthetics that exploit the effects of digital computational systems as they deeply permeate all parts of contemporary life. It concludes with a series of artworks critical to the material, sociocultural and environmental consequences of digital technology.
