So many things that don't get considered when writing fiction about time travel. I once wrote a story about the beginnings of time travel and how much computation would have to go into it so that you wouldn't end up blasted from landing partially in a wall, or alternatively dying from asphixiation in space. This video talks about the diseases you would have to contend with. Reminds me of the Connie Willis novel Doomsday Book.
