It really comes down to your goals, technical skills, free time, and how quickly you can and will learn new things. Arch is a great way to force yourself to learn new things if you love pain. Once you embrace the pain you can choose to live there or use an Arch based distro that does some of the grunt work for you. Do you like trying to figure out how to generate a UEFI boot entry or trying to find a package source to run a niche software on Debian?

I actually had a look since I did vaguely remember an EU Linux petition and sadly, @EUCommission@ec.social-network.europa.eu already killed it

While there is currently no formal project to establish an "EU Linux," there are many ongoing
initiatives that support the adoption of open source solutions within public administrations
across Member States. These efforts contribute to the EU’s broader objectives of transparency,
security, and technological independence in the digital domain.

A statement and apology Hello Linux family, I have a statement to share. Recently, you may have heard some rumours about me, or seen me named in the news. I wanted to set the record straight on this. It couldn't be left alone, and I felt something needed to be said. We all make mistakes, and I'm not asking for forgiveness, but I feel like I do need to explain myself and my actions that caused all of this. I get it though if you're mad at me, as the Leader of Linux Gaming, I have a position of power and it should never be taken lightly. It was a serious act of betryal, one I'm paying for but again - we all make mistakes, and I promise I will work hard to build back that trust in the community that I've earned over the last ~16 years. Sometimes in life you make great decisions, other times - not so much. This falls into the latter. This is my confession. I...I used Windows 11 the other day. In my defence it was tech support for someone else, they made me do it. Still, it's a serious crime and I will accept the punishment. Thank you for reading and for your nearly 16 years of support. Sorry.

@at alas, sending email to people in American prisons literally works this way. I have to pay for a “stamp” for the text and then one additional “stamp” for every attached jpeg, which is limited to 1MB *even though I’m paying for four gigabytes worth of storage for it*
