Nheko 0.9.0 is out! A lot of people contributed to it, so check it out on Flathub or here: github.com/Nheko-Reborn/nheko/…

The changelog is slightly longer than 500 characters, but look forward to lots of E2EE improvements, room directory support, custom sticker packs, token authenticated registration, new icons, jdenticons, animated images, accepting knocks, limited spaces support, message forwarding, a new media player and a lot more! 🐈‍⬛

Hey, @freemo
I was just exploring the other services by Qoto, and I noticed your Nextcloud instance cloud.qoto.org/login

When I click the privacy policy on the page, it takes me to the same, current page in a new tab! 🤔

in reply to frankie

odd ill look into it shortly. I'm pretty sure we have a text for that defined. @arteteco mostly admins that service.
in reply to 🎓 Doc Freemo 🇳🇱

Hi, thanks for pointing that out.

I think we worked on a draft for the privacy policy but we never officially published it (as I pointed out here discourse.qoto.org/t/qoto-priv… but then failed to work on it).

I could do slight adjustments to the Discourse privacy policy ( discourse.qoto.org/t/privacy-p… ), it could be better than nothing, but I'm no expert especially when it comes to foreign privacy laws

in reply to arteteco

I'm ok using a standard one as long as we uphold it. As far as I know "data is sacred, we never share your data, you can delete your data anytime" more or less sums up our policy.

@strawberryfieldsforever

in reply to arteteco

Hey, does a privacy policy have to have legal aspects in it? 🙋‍♂️

If it only has a few points that promise what you offer, like what Freemo was saying, "we never share your data, you can delete your data anytime."

Shouldn't something like that be enough?
@freemo

Woohoo received my 2nd-hand nVidia Quadro K4200 graphics card and now I can run both monitors at 4K60 :blob_cool:
Thankfully getting driver support was super easy -- I just installed nvidia-driver package before swapping them over and when it came back up, it was all working.
in reply to David de Groot 𓆉

for $120 shipped, I’m not complaining. Runs the 2 4K monitors and even has room for an extra DVI output if I want to run my little portable monitors for some reason…
Oh and also being only 1 slot wide means I’ve still got an x4 slot left if I want to add something else to this machine (it only has 2 full height slots in the small case)

La lucha contra el cambio climático pasa por regular algoritmos

qué creen?

elsaltodiario.com/cop26/lucha-…

in reply to Sursiendo

It goes on sale on our store next month. If you mean in mainstream retailers, it's possible but I don't believe we have current plans.

Had to work back tonight to support a webinar, but that meant I could snap a twilight shot across the lake.
