Florida students return to schools propagandized by DeSantis
cnn.com/2022/08/13/politics/de…
"We have drawn a very clear line in the sand that says our school system is for educating kids not indoctrinating them," DeSantis said last month
Schools for the first time will have to observe "Victims of Communism Day," during which high schoolers will be taught anti-communism lessons... "There has never been this level of politics injected into our job," Lee said.
School is all about indoctrination, but how many see it?
Part of it. But if it is taught right, you learn to see it.

Duh, didn't he see what was recovered?

in reply to tom grzyb • • •Representative Mike Turner, the top Republican on the House Intelligence Committee, said on CNN on Sunday that the Biden administration should provide more details on what led to the search.
Certainly fishing for clues to identify any inside sources of information used. These are not "good faith" inquiries.

in reply to tom grzyb • • •At best it's just a stalling tactic for fundraising and riling up their base, at worst it's what you are saying.
If they want to challenge the legality of a search warrant the proper way is to present their reasoning to the trial judge and that judge would review the evidence presented to the first judge privately and then say whether or not the collected evidence can be used in the trial.

in reply to tom grzyb • • •Well, that's not how warrants are supposed to work. They can't just get a warrant for no reason and then get to claim it was valid because they found something after the fact. They do that too often already with claiming "anonymous tip" as their only sources to raid people's homes. Yes the person may be a known drug dealer and yes it's probable that drugs are present, but due process should still be followed.
So it's perfectly valid to challenge a warrant. But it's not okay to ask to see the specific evidence used to obtain it when that information would put a witnesses life in danger or jeopardize the rest of the investigation.
But in this case, Trump was not quiet about having the documents. He was showing them off to a lot of people. There's no reason to suspect that one or more of those people, or the staff knew and told the FBI about it. They just want to know specifically who told, not whether or not the information is credible.

I'm not saying that is how it worked, I am saying that what was listed in the warrant is exactly what was obtained. Is it the counterargument that the FBI was just guessing?

As soon as they arrest someone that person is alerted to the fact that police view them as a suspect, have enough of a case to get an arrest, and they gain access to public defenders and other assistance.
So even if they are sure they know guilt they will wait for DNA to process, cell phone records to get subpoenaed, talk to additional witnesses... while claiming they have no person of interest and are just gathering intel. As soon as someone thinks the cops are on to them they will start getting rid of evidence, intimidating witnesses, flee, whatever.
The FBI took time to make sure they had iron clad info both for the warrant and for the push back they knew would be coming, and likely for the trial itself. As soon as that warrant was served and the FBI left, I'm sure there was some frantic electronic deleting and shredding anything the agents didn't manage to get a hold of. Very likely they have wire taps in place on some of the people in Trum

Likely they haven't arrested him yet because he's still producing evidence that they are gathering to use against him in court.

And when someone is a danger to society, they do not wait to arrest someone. In fact there are people imprisoned in Guantanamo who still haven't been charged with anything.
And he is a danger. He's constantly hinting at a new uprising.
