I already removed my personal Mastodon. Today Iโm removing it entirely from my phone. Social media is too toxic and time consuming to do outside of when Iโm here for GOL work ๐
As always best way to reach me is email: gamingonlinux.com/email-us/
Just saw all the kind words, thank you everyone ๐
Still here, not de-prioritising Mastodon at all. All content will still be here, just not having it at all on my phone.
Hooray!
Take care of yourself however you need to, of course, but know you'd be missed if you had to leave.

I was just reading a nature blog news thingie where they talk about the alternative publishing platforms octopus and researchequals.
Has anyone used these, Are they any good?
I like that you get a doi for each part of the document instead of only the eventual publication, and both do this. Researchequals seems to have an account requirement for reading, which sort of defies the purpose? Either that or their design skills are awful.
