Interesting report on #Mpox #virus:
(AKA #MonkeyPox or #MPXV)

"We monitored SARS-CoV-2 & MPXV genomes in the air... in Madrid nightclubs... in 2022.
...
MPXV in the air had increased considerably on Aug 8, with 57% of positive samples containing more than 100 genomes per [cubic meter]; this date coincided with the peak incidence of mpox in Spain."

The authors suggest that air sampling might be a useful surveillance method.

And don't get me started on Netflix documentaries. I love documentaries and I used to be so happy that Netflix produces so many. Are Chrome OS & Android Linux Distrobutions? #Linux #YouTube youtu.be/_vFsNjhn6Hc
in reply to Brodie Robertson

I think it adds on a few requirements apart from just distributing Linux. These requirements likely are different depending on who ask, but for me it is a project that embraces as part of its identity.

Like Ubuntu or Arch make Linux a core part it identity and brand themselves as a linux distro. Android and chrome os on the other hand merely use linux because it is as you said, "a really good kernel". Google has even talked about replacing it with the Fuschia kernel.

PCGamesN just put this up...seemingly not checking the dates of the survey. They used a *year old* survey.

PCGamesN hasn't been the best in terms of information validation.

I ended up being used as a source for potential release dates for a project I was a backend dev on at the time, because I replied to an inquiry with a 'I don't know' and a pointing of then towards the person who was our actual PR point.

The full account of Pallas and his journey through the Russian Empire, in which he is shown the Meteorite [Part 3: 1772-1773] now known as the Pallas Iron Meteorite. Meteorites which belong to this class are called Pallasites.

It's a doozy, with 2008 Fraktur pages, most of which OCR4all has converted; but it still needs line-by-line editing, which will take months. The file has 4.35MB of text.
