Some interesting tilted rock beds and flagstones just up ahead. Going to creep a bit closer and see if they’d make good science targets. (Truth be told, I could stare at rocks all day.) 🪨🤓

Recently I found that quite a few of my #Twitter and #Mastodon followers are working in high-performance #computing (HPC). At first I was surprised because I’m not a #HPC person, even if I love high performance computers. Then I realized that there are quite few overlaps, and one of my best friends is also deeply involved in HPC. My work, #logging, is also a fundamental part of HPC environments.

Give yourself the gift today of doing an image search for "still life with cat"

cw cats defiantly touching various meats

in reply to schratze

right?? I can't have anything green in my house, I'm sure some cat painters went through that too
in reply to frankenposter

to cover all the classics in this household, there would have to be still life paintings of cats with plants, empty plates, margarine, semolina pudding, spinach and chips

in reply to Руслан Местный

@Руслан Местный @Rоссийская🐻Fедерация Hi, this is a known issue we've been having. The first step in remediation is to update your node to version 2023.01 at least. Then add two entries in your server pattern block list from the console like this:

bin/console serverblock add "*.activitypub-troll.cf" "Spam"
bin/console serverblock add "*.gab.best" "Spam"

This should reduce the amount of worker tasks.

Then you can run the following SQL queries to clean up your database:

DELETE FROM `gserver` WHERE `nurl` LIKE '%.activitypub-troll.cf' OR `nurl` LIKE '%.gab.best'

This query will take about an hour to complete.

I interviewed Michelle Yeoh a few years ago about #StarTrekDiscovery and I mentioned offhand that I'd written an article about what seeing her use her accent on the bridge of a starship meant to me.

She stopped and said "Wait, that was YOU?"

And then proceeded to talk about how much that article had meant to HER and how it contributed to the success of the show.

I can't think about it without crying.
