Clunky controls and interfaces in RPGs. I tried playing Phantasy Star 1 and 2 yesterday (OG versions) and both were nearly unplayable because of the UI.
This isn't universal, of course. I feel that old Final Fantasy games do not really have this problem.
This is SO nerdy, I'm not certain how many people will laugh. I CERTAINLY LAUGHED!
