A little science with your Monday evening repast?
Ghost leaves!
Post oak (Quercus stellata) dead leaves were lying on the concrete driveway. It rained, then we had a couple of days of heavy fog. The rain & fog leached the quercitannic acid out of the leaves, bleaching the concrete under them. #science

Just get a High Endurance card of your own,
from whatever trustworthy-brand you can,
& put the image on it, yourself?
The high-endurance's required, as the amount of file-writes that Linux does .. is not "conservative",
when it's got one's home-directory on it, eh?
( or anything like frequent writes )

in reply to It's FOSS • • •I seem to be having better results with my rolling distro than I had with fixed.
... except for my server.
So the answer is, it depends on my use case.
The computer I keep on my workbench that goes long periods of time without use was also reverted back to a fixed release distro. Rolling kept getting too far out of date and then having issues updating.

Windows, you get... Windows. Maybe a server edition.
Linux... Well, this distro sucks on my little laptop, but hey here's one aimed at low spec hardware. Oh here's one for my server!
Another that works well on that weird touchscreen device. One for my SBC!
Endless! Truly endless!

Linux is like that giant mega pack of crayons! You WILL find a color you like!
