A final touch on a somewhat damaged cake, i need to learn how to take it out properly out of its mold, there's apparently a technique to it.

First attempt at Creme Brรปlรฉe.

Extremely tasty, didnโ€™t quite get the custard consistency right, and my torch is out of gas so I had to use the grill which isnโ€™t quite as effective.

Will need to try again at some point.

The pie inside. Worked pretty well. I think 6 apples instead of four might have been better, and while the 25% rye flour in the pastry was a nice change, a lighter full white pastry might have suited better. #dessert #pie
