To everyone following my Gonk adventures. Inside this little fella is a @Raspberry_Pi PicoW, a mmWave presence sensor from @seeedstudio , a small mono OLED screen, a pair of green LEDs and a single Neopixel. The whole arrangement is hooked up to #homeassistant using the MiniMQTT library in @circuitpython (#CircuitPython also controls all the hardware too).

My Solar powered #raspberrypi pico reported that it has rained all night. It turns out there had been no rain. It was measuring the moisture content of bird poo. I will need a scraper as it has clearly dried. #raspberrypipico

Great interview with @Raspberry_Pi's own @wren6991 in #Elektor magazine, https://www.elektormagazine.com/articles/dvi-on-the-rp2040-mcu-raspberry-pi-luke-wren. If you want to know more about #DVI on the #RP2040, and Luke's DVI-Sock for the #RaspberryPiPico, https://github.com/Wren6991/Pico-DVI-Sock, which you can pick up for under €7, https://buyzero.de/en/products/raspberry-pi-pico-dvi-sock-videoausgabe-fur-den-pico, then you should go check it out!

Want to build a door alarm using a @Raspberry_Pi Pico? You'll probably want to use a magnetic switch. Learn how to write #CircuitPython code to tell if a door switch (also called a reed switch) is open or closed. We'll end with a "door alarm" challenge that turns on an LED & plays an alarm sound when the door switch is open. Get at that Big Learning & stay safe 🚨 https://youtu.be/0XNt2bBGI0s #Pico #PiPico #RaspberryPi #STEM #STEMEducation #RaspberryPiPico

The #e-ink identification badge is a neat concept, that definitely has merit in certain applications… I’d love to see it implemented, but in my experience, e-ink is one of those technologies that has just never really taken off (outside of #e-book readers), despite the “laundry list” of potential applications. | #ElectronicPaper #RaspberryPi #RaspberryPiPico

Pretty excited to light this #wearable project up for the first time - a #RaspberryPiPico (well, an RP2040 at least), round 240x240 LCD, and a tiny li-po in a 3d printed case. Running a modified version of #pimoroni picographics with one of their demo scripts atm.
I have plans for some fun animations in the future, as well as a slightly more sturdy chain.
This was by far the most complicated piece of #3dmodelling I've done and I'm really chuffed it could be made to fit in a chassis of this size

More work in progress on my mini control panel. Pico W & Display Pack 2 - a tiny 2 inch 320x240 display. MicroPython is fun!

Wish I was a UI designer 😬 Instead I'm using Google Material Icons packed into a spritesheet and extending PicoGraphics to handle custom tile sizes which are then blitted to the screen. Reminds me of Flash gamedev ~15 years ago. Good times..

My Sky transmitter is now complete. An infrared message is sent after dusk into the sky at 850nm.

IP cam running Dafang firmware > Frigate on #Docker on #RaspberryPi > Coral TPU #ML > #RaspberryPiPico & #Pimoroni Display Pack 2 = tiny image notifications when my camera detects an object.

I need a bigger display.. maybe a hyperpixel on a Pi Zero 2

Hey cool, my PicoStepSeq #RaspberryPiPico sequencer project is in @Raspberry_Pi's The MagPi magazine! Thanks Rosemary & MagPi team! The cool callout diagram in the printed/PDF version is super dope. Anyone know how to get a printed copy of MagPi in Los Angeles? https://magpi.raspberrypi.com/articles/picostepseq-rp2040-music-maker
