A narrow footpath, with stone wall on one side, fence on the other, leads downhill towards a small gate. There are green fields and in the mid-distance, a converted old stone barn and a cluster of trees. Beyond, a wide low valley of walled fields and rolling hills. The light is early evening gold, the sky totally clear, but slightly faded towards the horizon - a spring blue.

Cloudy sky. In the distant there are darker clouds. In the front is a field of lupins. To be clear, you can only see lupins …so half of the photo is lupins. The other clouds. Does this make sense? The Lupins are not fully in bloom yet, but the purple colour is already clear.
