Looping with the Sub PO-14

starting to experiment with the pocket operators. this was a quick little jam with the sub po-14, which is one of the bass ones. quality is a little meh because it was just recorded with my phone.

MIDI Guitar 🎸

I worked with Noe from Adafruit on this MIDI Guitar project. I wrote the code, he did the CAD and we collaborated on the concept and components.

Audio Spectrum Analyzer in a Guitar Pedal - Arduino Audio Meter by ElectroSmash

Arduino Audio Meter is a new pedal from ElectroSmash. It's basically a 16x16 LED matrix in a guitar pedal form factor with an Arduino Uno inside, which means you can code your own effects.

Fixing a Guitar Tuner Pedal

it's a snow bop // reason jam

i sat down and did some music in reason for the first time in a very long time. i've always struggled with leaving space in music so i tried to consciously do that with this jam. it's just roughly mixed in reason with some aux reverb added to each track, so nothing fancy but it gets the job done.

it's a bop and it's currently snowing where i am, so that makes it a snow bop.

Patch from Scratch // Packie Store Tootsie Roll

a patch from scratch. some narration at the beginning. full patch can begin to be heard around 8 minutes.

the title comes from driving by an old packie store [liquor store] that i was brought to regularly as a child and seeing it was now permanently closed. one of the clerks that worked there when i was growing up used to give me a tootsie roll when she'd see me. please don't bring a child with you when you're making a packie run.

november tick bite // synth jam

this patch began with the intro portion that was patched up specifically for background music in a recent video. in that video i took some footage out on a nature walk. i've been going on nature walks since august and never had a tick bite until that walk, ironically in november and the coldest morning that i'd been out so far.

Preparing for Winter with Music Tech Projects

First chords with the robot xylophone

The first chords out of the robot xylophone. Running on an Adafruit ItsyBitsy nRF52840 with the CircuitPython BLE MIDI library. Notes played live with a MIDI keyboard going into my computer to send MIDI out via BLE. I'm on Windows and I really like using MIDIberry for this.
