Update from the Icelandic Met Office about the eruption at Sundhnúkur fissure swarm in Reykjanes that began again last night.
The eruption began less intense than the previous one and is now declining. Lava has flowed westward to the north of the Svartstengi power plant / Blue Lagoon. Gas pollution is forecast to travel southward and westward.

in reply to Sheril Kirshenbaum • • •Hate to say it, but the Boomer number is the only one that's in touch with reality. The Gen Z number only makes a little sense if you are looking exclusively at the bay area or NYC.
I guess it depends on what "financially successful" means to you. To me, it means you aren't stressing about necessities and get to engage in certain luxuries like occasional vacations etc.

This is what each of us would have if wealth was distributed equitably & we kept using resources at the current rate. I would like to see what this same formula looks like replacing money with energy.
