Are there any other Guardian readers here?
I enjoy their news articles, but their cinema news and reviews reek of sexism. Their articles about the movie Barbie were largely on the nose. The retrospective article about Mary Poppins had me rolling my eyes. Just in the last day the Guardian's Peter Bradshaw has written about Shelley Duvall's career given our recent loss. Was the most important thing about Duvall her sexuality? Three times he goes into some depth about it, as if it were the most important thing about her as an actor and a human being. Would he have said the same things about a male actor?
I hope other people are also writing to The Guardian and complaining!

@Gargron I regularly get into this mode of the web user interface. With no way to exit, except refreshing the whole page. Maybe somebody should take a look at that from UX point if view… 🤔
Actually I don’t even know what the function is supposed to do. It happens when I’m reading messages, not trying to upload anything at all.
On a mobile device. No files being dragged at all. And no escape button either.
I’m not sure how it get’s triggered. Just the usual thick fingers on a tiny screen trying to scroll situation. 😉
