Baldur's Gate 3 out now and works on Steam Deck and desktop Linux
For those interested in the latest big RPG from Larian Studios, here's my quick initial report on Baldur's Gate 3 running on Steam Deck and desktop Linux.Liam Dawe (GamingOnLinux)
I was playing it for a few hours tonight!
It's really well done and runs perfectly on Linux (Fedora Silverblue, Steam Flatpak, AMD GPU).
The one issue I did hit was accidentally enabling cross-save, where it tried to sync (and the server must be super busy at the moment) and it hung, preventing saving from happening.
Cross-save is probably only needed for console to PC & back — I'm assuming Steam PC to Steam Deck works via Steam.
Anyway, people should have cross-save off. 😉

Scientists from the Institute of Earth Sciences at @uni_iceland calculated that the eruption was discharging about 12 cubic meters of lava per second on July 17, similar to the 2021 and 2022 eruptions.

Lava is once again spilling from the volcano in southwest Iceland, only this time it is igniting moss fires.go.nasa.gov
Water vapor, carbon dioxide & sulfur dioxide are the most abundant gases in volcanic plumes.
According to satellite sensors like TROPOMI and OMI, winds have mostly pushed the plume over the Atlantic Ocean, but has also affected air quality in Reykjavík.
