That moment when the Wampanoag people decided to show some neighborly kindness is an important one. The people from Europe and the people from Turtle Island were able to come together in peace, even if only for one meal.
Now every year people are reminded that we were once kind to each other. And now we need to think about how kindness needs to be returned.
