I decided to make Fedfree official, with a link to it from libreboot.org:
libreboot.org/news/fedfree.htm…
Fedfree's goal goes far beyond self-hosting. One of my main agendas is to actually establish a manifesto of sorts, talking about not just libre software, but libre hardware aswell - the self-hosting tutorials tie into that because you can't have freedom unless you have the ability to share your ideas without restriction.
Fedfree's mission is to promote freedom of all kinds, related to technology.

Today Brazil suffered an attempt by fascistic terrorists to overthrow the government. I just want to make it clear that I'm safe... Just VERY distressed.
This attempt was inspired by the Capitol Riot episode, the guy who lost the last election has already ran away to Florida.
I can't do anything about it at the moment, but the responsible people are being arrested.
Now on a lighter note, what I can do now is taking care of my family and doing some art. So that's what I'm doing. #news

You'll never be happy with the Steam Deck 2
I've had my Steam Deck for nearly a year at this point and there's there's a small–but incredibly vocal–minority of folks who already want new Steam Deck hardware.Gardiner Bryant (ViewSink)
@gamingonlinux @rubenwardy if it truly is a handheld PC then why aren't the Ayaneo and GPD devices considered competitors? And why doesn't it ship with Windows?
Checkmate. 😉
@rubenwardy they are technically competitors, in the same way the AMD and NVIDIA are competitors for your money
Are you really going down the hole of PC means Windows?

What are the gold colored ones like 43 Technetium? Seems there's 7 colors used, but only 6 in the key table (?).
Cool as f* though. 😀
“The apparent exodus is a shock to the academic system that some researchers didn’t see coming but that others say has been palpable for quite some time — and is a trend only set to continue. ‘The majority of senior academics still don’t understand how fast this is coming,’ says Daniel MacArthur, a population geneticist at the Garvan Institute of Medical Research in Sydney, Australia.
“Early-career scientists are not missing a beat, however.”

My parents have this old wood-burning kitchen stove and whoever gets up first in the morning is supposed to fire it up. Just did that, made a pot of coffee and am now enjoying the quiet ☕ 😌.
In 1952, Katherine Johnson heard there were open positions at the all-Black West Area Computing section at the National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics’ (later NASA) Langley laboratory.
With far too many accomplishments to list, her work was fundamental to marking a turning point in the space race with the Soviet Union. nasa.gov/content/katherine-joh…
In 2015, President Obama awarded Johnson the Presidential Medal of Freedom. She passed away in 2020 at 101. #history #space #HistoryRemix

But like most accomplished people he didn't factor in the inherent limitations to Homo sapiens - which to date have poisoned just about every utopian well that has been dug.
Press the "chaos" button to have your food hurtling through space and time! If by pure bad luck you accidentally send it into a black hole, that is known as "panacrunch".
- I once did a comedy routine whereby I had a time machine oven that would "uncook" anything you put into it. Put in a cup of coffee, out comes milk, hot water, sugar, and coffee grounds. Put in a roast chicken, out comes an egg! It then goes wrong and I end up doing the routine in reverse. Most difficult bit of memorisation I have ever done! Or "Done ever have I memorisation of bit difficult most!"
