R.E.P.O. is a new co-op horror game with silly physics currently exploding on Steam
With a Steam image of a stupid smiley face that made me initially ignore it when seeing it (the kind I would expect from some basic cheapo game), R.E.P.O. is actually pretty darn amusing and it's rocketing up the charts on Steam.Liam Dawe (GamingOnLinux)

I love this. People often complain about MS Office compatibility and no-one knows OnlyOffice which is great for that.
It has a similar interface, has better support for MS Office documents and supports cloud collaboration (yes I know about Collabora but that is in browser only). Unless you're doing something really complex it will do you just fine. I even install it on Windows for people that don't want to pay the subscription.

U.S. taxpayers only pay Social Security taxes on the first $176,100 of their annual wages.

Advocacy for self-employed people or hobbyists can sometimes be easier to establish because people yearn for the support more than those in more stable employment. Artists might have a template. In Ireland we have a 'representative group for artists', Visual Artists Ireland, who have political voice and do an amazing job: visualartists.ie
We also have a union called Praxis.
