Long time no see, so I thought I'd share some pictures from last year.

This picture was taken on the edge of one of my favorite backcountry cycling routes in my second home in Styria, Austria.

A steep, almost vertical rocky creek bed with only small pools of crystal clear water, surrounded by young beech trees with their dried orange/rusty leaves still clinging on and intensely glowing in the late afternoon sun. Large conifers standing in the background further down. The other side of the valley is barely visible through the trees.

Once upon a time, in the Styrian Alps, I hiked up a mountain in the early morning darkness to photograph the sunrise. That was almost three years ago now, October 2019.

I've posted a few edits of this before, but this is the original that I haven't shown like this before. Unfortunately I don't have the RAW files anymore, so I can't edit it again by today's standards and technical possibilities.
