Cold Morning at Chefron (2023)

Fun fact - I took this image about 15min before I fell through the ice into the river below... That was the first of two times I would fall into a river in winter that year. I wouldn't recommend.

Thankfully, I was nearby my car and had a sleeping bag and dry clothes ready to change into! Paid off to be prepared.

I've been redigitizing all of my film, and shots like this are what's motivating me.

I scanned this using a #FlatbedScanner before, but redigitizing it with a camera will be sharper. Hopefully I'll be able to keep the #Fujifilm #Fujichrome colors

Once upon a time, in the Styrian Alps, I hiked up a mountain in the early morning darkness to photograph the sunrise. That was almost three years ago now, October 2019.

I've posted a few edits of this before, but this is the original that I haven't shown like this before. Unfortunately I don't have the RAW files anymore, so I can't edit it again by today's standards and technical possibilities.
