What israel is perpetrating in Palestine is *a* holocaust, not *the* Holocaust. And yes, it is genocide. And yes, they’re also guilty of close to eight decades of apartheid, ethnic cleansing, and settler colonialism. All these things can be (and are) true at the same time.
Basically, if you’re defending israel in any way, shape, or form right now, you’re the worst of the worst. Almost a century ago, you’re the kind of person who would have been cheering on Hitler. And yes, that’s also a valid comparison.

Germany arrests self-declared 'king' and bans his extremist group
Peter Fitzek, 59, was among those arrested in morning raids across seven states on Tuesday, which involved about 800 security personnel.The government banned their group, the Reichsbürger, or "citizens of the Reich", which seeks to establish the Königreich Deutschland, or "Kingdom of Germany".
Alexander Dobrindt, German's interior minister, accused the group of attempting to "undermine the rule of law" by creating an alternative state and spreading "antisemitic conspiracy narratives to back up their supposed claim to authority".
His ministry announced the dissolution of the group, and accused it of financing itself through "economic criminal structures".

It's probably not a serious question. Maybe it's just a silly immature dunk on #Germany / #German pride. Or maybe there's something darker in Kant's writings that #Russia thinks supports recent #Russian behavior (I have no reason to believe there is, I'm just openly musing).

Germany on Wednesday detained 25 members and supporters of a far-right group that the prosecutor's office said was preparing a violent overthrow of the state to install as national leader a prince who had sought support from Russia.Prosecutors said the group was inspired by the deep state conspiracy theories of Germany's Reichsbuerger and QAnon, whose advocates were among those arrested after the storming of the U.S. Capitol in January 2021.
Members of the Reichsbuerger (Citizens of the Reich) do not recognise modern-day Germany as a legitimate state. Some of them are devoted to the German empire under monarchy, while some are adherents of Nazi ideas and others believe Germany is under military occupation.
