This is #Barfleur. The fact that Barfleur was included in the list of the most beautiful villages in France is thanks to its #granite: all the buildings were built from the granite of the Armorican massif, which is found here.
I really really wanted to visit Barfleur as one of my favourite detective novels plays there 😊 And let me tell you: It is stunningly beautiful and I will definitely return (by book or in person)!

Taken this day, 2016, historic Greyfriars Kirk at night https://www.flickr.com/photos/woolamaloo_gazette/31594156170/

No problem with the resident ghosts - they only go after tourists!

The Peabody Library in Baltimore, Maryland, is one of the most beautiful interior spaces I've ever seen. Worth the visit! #baltimore #architecture #library #maryland #books

The Nasir al-Mulk Mosque in Shiraz, #Iran is known as the #Pink #Mosque

It gets its name from rose-colored tiles covering mosque exterior & pink hue sunlight creates on interior when it shines through stained glass windows

Built in late 19th century during Qajar dynasty, the mosque is not just a place of worship, but a work of #art showing #beauty & #creativity of Islamic #architecture & #design.

“The Bean” underneath #NYC’s famous “Jenga tower” is complete! Super cool. Just a few blocks from where I work. #Architecture #Modernism

I’ve been in #NYC for over 20 years and had no idea there was a “Sniffen Court” … it looks and sounds right out of a fantasy film. Midblock East 36th in Manhattan. Originally stables for the wealthy houses around this area. #Architecture #Landmarks

Architecture was my career choice as a teen. I loved designing and drafting the plans. And I was good at it, winning awards at the Texas state level all four years of high school.

I didn't study #architecture in college because they were moving away from #drafting on paper (what I loved) to AutoCAD. Ironically, I've been in tech since 1998. 🤷🏻‍♂️❤️
