What do all these Hubble images have in common?
They show the aftermath of stars that died in a bright, powerful explosion known as a supernova.
In a supernova, a starโs contents fling out into space at speeds of up to 25,000 miles (15,000 to 40,000 km) per second!
#Hubble
These supernova remnants are made of material from the exploded star and any interstellar material it sweeps up in its path. Read more about supernova remnants and other types of nebulae: go.nasa.gov/3EILHKu

"Self-Hosting Is the Ultimate Privacy Power Move"
When you use a third-party service for your needs, whatever those needs may be, youโre always taking on a certain degree of privacy risk.

Hereโs Why Self-Hosting a Server Is Worth the Effort
If youโve ever considered self-hosting a server to run one or more services instead of using existing web-based providers, youโve likely pondered if it was worth the hassle. Hereโs why it is.Jason Fitzpatrick (How-To Geek)
sorry, no. Many self hosting softwares phone home as much as anything else, but you also have to configure them/your network and maintain opsec or else you'll just get pwned.
Self-hosting potentially can be great for privacy, but it isn't a silver bullet

American Cars Are Getting Too Big For Parking Spaces
The American car has gotten bigger in the past few decades but parking spot size has not kept pace. Regardless of the cause, thkottke.org
Perhaps more importantly than parking spaces is the climate emergency we're now just at the beginning of. Parking spaces are the least of our worries.
Sadly it would seem though that the American mind and culture isn't yet grasping that full size vehicles as we've come to know them are not a part of a survivable future. Even electric cars. We have to end them in favor of much smaller vehicles: micromobility, cycling, public transit.
