Web Based Desktop Environments Are Really Weird
Recently I've been seeing a rise in what I like to call web based desktop enviroment and whilst they're certainly an interesting concept I don't know whether...YouTube
I kinda doubt they'll move past the hobbyist space. Mainly because I feel like they are just wasting resources.
There may be a place for hybrid solutions that let ypu seamelessly process files in the cloud, like for an IDE or a job that requires a controlled environment for allows personal devices. The issue is that you can just make an electron app that doesn't pretend to be a DE. IDK though, it could have its uses, but it still is kinda hard to justify.
