Framework's recent sponsorship has raised questions.

Framework is Accused of Supporting the Far-right, Apparently for Sponsoring the Hyprland Project
The announcement has generated quite some buzz but for all the wrong reasons.Sourav Rudra (It's FOSS News)
When using, contributing to software in the form of code, you dont have to subscribe to someones political leanings.
But when you look at the shit thrown at the devs of lemmy for being "tankies" aka the cia word for communists, people who want equal rights for everyone, the double standards become a problem.
The world has a huge reactionary problem. Veganism, climate change, imperialism, all this is "culture war" but not supporting "tankies" is fine?
Y'all need to stop and think.
Cancel culture at it‘s finest. People have to stop putting all of the weight in single persons political or personal views.
That sucks sooooo hard!
@frameworkcomputer is cool, @hyprland is probably cool (don’t use it), #FOSS is cool, #Linux is cool. Even #microsoft is cool from time to time, even though their products are mostly not.
Stop bitching around for every shitty detail.

Star Trek: Voyager - Across the Unknown gets a first demo
Clearly still a work in progress but a taste of things to come, Star Trek: Voyager - Across the Unknown now has a public demo available.Liam Dawe (GamingOnLinux)
I've had a little play and it's very promising.
Worth pointing out that Elite Force didn't have the standard Voyager theme, it had something similar but still used the TV's title sequence.
As for the voiceover, I'm sure they plan to have them but the script will have to be locked in to get everything recorded in one go. It does suggest that they plan to have the original cast rather than soundalikes that they'll be able to have multiple sessions with.
