The live feed was pretty much useless since...forever. A live feed on this type of social media just doesn't really work.
Funny to think back, the Mastodon Social admins emailed me a complaint years ago that our news auto-posts were set to public and showed up in the live feed (so what??). They gave me a stern warning on setting them unlisted back then. Stupid.

with Windows 11 Linux has definitely seen a lot more up take. But there's also a lot of people that have been using Linux for years now migrating to FreeBSD. I see a lot of reference to Zen Browser. It looks great, I like the organization features, and it's FOSS. But what about plugins? There are a few plugins that I use that aren't directly related to making the browser behave that I use constantly. Proton Pass is a good example. It looks as if the plugin space is lacking so far, but the benefits may actually outweigh this shortcoming.

When I was on Windows, I mostly used Brave until I learned it was supporting crypto stuff. When I switched to Linux, I started with Firefox and now use Vivaldi in parallel. I need to do a deeper dive into Librewulf and Waterfox to see which will replace Firefox for me.

I'm more disappointed right now that they still seem under enthusiastic about Linux gaming. This has been a giant limitation where they've let Valve steal market share ever since Proton and Steam Deck. It's why I switched from using GOG Galaxy as my primary gaming interface back to Steam. I've even repurchased games I originally bought on GOG on Steam because it's so much easier to play them on my Steam Deck and Linux laptop that way.
They're hiring a guy for Linux gaming. Okay. That should have been five years ago, ten years ago.
