In breaking news, Chief Judge Boesberg, citing to a "mountain of evidence" that Trump's DOJ is criminally investigating Fed Chair Jay Powell for improper purpose and no evidence of any crime being committed at all regarding the Fed Reserve building renovation cost overruns, has quashed the grand jury subpoenas and excoriated Trump and his DOJ in doing so. Re-reading @neauoire ‘s excellent talk “Weathering Software Winter” 100r.co/site/weathering_softwa… and one line really struck home, in the light of all the woe we’re seeing (AI, sloperating systems, age verification aka biometric identity capture/surveillance etc.):
“I wanted a way of doing computers that nobody could take away from me.”
So the Transputer emulator is at the base of my attempt to do that.
your work on the transputer is how I first learned about your work, I considered the T4 for a bit before going with Uxn, and seeing you take it and run with it has been really nice. You're definitely going that way, where you'll have a bedrock abstraction that nobody can take away from you.
