I love that the @nextcloud update server regularly offers download speeds of 50 kbit/s. It's not annoying at all to wait 1 hour on the updater without a progress bar until your little zip file is downloaded.
Can I recommend investing in a CDN? I hear Cloudflare offers things like that for basically free[1], and I see no harm in using them for static update files with checksums.
