I was considering adding this as a feature to my gallery tool, but then I thought it might be even cooler to have a public list hosted somewhere in a repo where people could add their gallery links via pull requests. I would add an option to the generator that pulls the list and adds it to the gallery every time a picture is added. This way, the list would automatically stay updated. Any thoughts?

in the ideal world, the filenames would be in unix-epoch so I could only look for a single line per post. But I know this isn't ideal - I don't like it either, some people use semantic file names, or tags, which makes more sense for accessibility.
But! As long as the feed has <link>direct://url.to.image and <pubDate>(that's rss valid) That's fine.
Also if pubDate was in UTC-0, I wouldn't have to do magemathical formulas :')

@mcc the key is datalog. i saw an inkscape in there, a game engine, a database system, the important bit is flattened composition, and a visualizable approach. hard to explain. i go entirely by intuition.

It's a bit strange to talk about, because so many scientists work their butt off to publish maybe few papers a year. But hyper-publication in a relatively small number of labs skews standards and expectations for everyone else. And, depending on the scale, it compromises the integrity of the whole peer review process, without necessarily producing any meaningful products.

wtf is going on with that game? I feel like it got released a billion times, and now it arena reloaded is getting an arena royale gamemodeโฆ why does it have to be so confusing? I feel like the game is run by marketing freaks and the devs are just frantically trying to make new things to have enough things they can put their strange names on. Also where is their money coming from? Hasnโt their player count always been low?
They always had a fun core game there, and it is a bit painful to see it in this chaotic state and with a stale battle pass slapped on. It must be so hard to retain players against the giants in the fps genre, but I doubt it'll ever be successful to copy the big ones when you're a small developer.
